One sheet box

All of these boxes were made with one sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper. I got the directions from SCS and they were so much fun to make. Each little box had candy in them for some of my co-workers. Images were cut from Simply Charmed Cart.

Easter Cards

I never got these in the mail but I did make 4 of them. I guess I will save them for next year.

Easter tags

All of these tags were attached to bags of candy. I made 6 of the bunny tags.

You cannot see it but all of the bunnies are glittered.

So busy so little time

I just had to come on my blog and say that I have not even stepped foot into my craft room since May. I hope to have more time to get in there soon. I have so many new stamps and carts and paper to play with and yet work so many hours and am so tired I just crash when I get home. Craft room, I miss you.

Cupcake Birthday Set

It is Saturday! On Monday it is Kevin's Birthday.
Kevin is one of our processors and he shares an office
with me. I made Kevin this set so that he can always
have a cupcake around. He does not eat a lot of sweets
so I thought this would be perfect.

This is the whole set put together. The box is not my
original idea. I got it off of someones blog a while back
and did not think to keep the link because I did not have
a blog back then. I am sorry, I do not have the link.

This is the box with the cupcake on the outside. I
copied the idea out of the SU Success magazine to cover
the cupcake. I used 1" circle punch and straight pins
for the "sprinkles". I did not have any styrofoam balls
laying around so I took batting that you make pillows with
and rolled it into a ball and covered it with material and
tied it off. I glued the whole thing into the cupcake wrapper.

This is the cupcake in the box with the lid opened
so you can see how it fits down in there. The star
is a SU punch and so is the Yum Yum. The inside of
the box has an insert to hold the cupcake in place since
this is meant to hold a real cupcake. The top has an
acetate cover too.

SU Chocolate chip cardstock on the bottom and the
ribbon is also SU Chocolate Chip. The buttons are from
my stash.

Another view of one of the sides. PP is Twinkle
twinkle little boy from My Minds Eye.

Here is the card to match. Cupcake is from
the Sweet Treats cart and the greeting is a SU
stamp. I used the same paper on the card as on
the box so it would match. I hope you enjoy!

Ballerina Tilda

This is one of the new stamps from the Fairy
Tale series. I just think she is so adorable. The
paper is Just Dreamy by My Minds Eye. The base
cardstock is by PaperTrey Ink. Tilda is colored with
copics.

Stickes on her hose.

Flower charm is from my stash and the roses
are by Prima. Ribbon is SU Old Olive.

Close Up of Tilda.

Closer...

Skull Pirate

This card is so different than what I originally
had thought of in my mind. My original vision
had a barrell, anchor, palm trees, boat
waves, sun....etc. I was going to add a skull and
crossbones to the scene in small scale when
I thought of this idea instead. I decided to go with
a pink theme and carry it through. There is not
alot going on with the card and I feel it showcases
pirate Tilda in a good way. She is such a cutie.

Sticles on the eyes and nose of the skull as well as
stickles on the flower.

Her buckles have some bling and I gave her earrings
a bit of bling as well.

Closeup of the flower with stickles. It is still wet in this
picture. The flower is a Marvy punch that I have.

The skull was cut from Indie Art at 4.5 inches. I added
some lines to outline the skull and give it some definition.

Ahoy Matey

I am so excited to get my new Magnolia stamps
from the Fairy Tale Collection. I had to color this
little pirate up and the barrell too. The background
is a roller I have from SU. Base of the card is PaperTrey
paper but I am unsure of the color. I just ordered a bunch
to try out. The PP is really old from a summer stack from
a couple of years ago.

Hemp twine was in my stash and so was the button.
I have a lot of buttons, I love them.

Closeup of his face.

Deatailed shots. I love the skull and anchor. The
background of the barrell is all colored with copics.

Button. It has a little bit of shimmer to it.

Closeup of the cutie. I just think he is
totally adorable. More from this collection
to come. The banner is from New Arrival
cart, handwrote the words and distressed.

Make A Wish (Tent)

Here is another tent card that I made. I think that
these are a lot of fun to make. I used the Sweet Treats
cart again and the paper is from the Sweet Stack by
DCVW. I made this on Sunday and now I do not
remember the sizes of everything. Base of the card
is SU chocolate chip paper. Yummy.

The bottom ribbon is SU chocolate chip ribbon that
they have discontinued but I still have some left over.
I embossed the cupcake with swirls and used Crystal
Effects on it to make it shiny.

Make a wish was also cut from the Sweet Treats
cart. I glittered the Make A and just did some
sweets dots on the wish to help it stand out. The
brad is from SU and is epoxy in the color pretty in
pink. I love these brads.

I thought I would show a close up of the corduroy
buttons in pretty in pink that I used to close up the
card. The tabs coming over the top are the window
words punch from SU.

I even decorated the back of the card with the
same paper that I used on the front. This helped
me hide the brads that are holding the card together.
I had a lot of fun making this and hope everyone will
try their hand at making one.

Tent Card

Happy Sunday! I was cruising around the internet
this morning when I saw a tent card and tutorial. I
knew I just had to try it and use one of my very
sweet Magnolia stamps. I decided to use the Welcome
Neighbor paper by SU and paired it with Melon Mambo
since it is so fun and festive. I hope you enjoy and I have
given sizes for almost everything below.

The base of the card is 6x6. The layer is 5.75 x 5.75
on both the inside and the outside.

Tilda is suspended from the card with wire that
I just made into a loop and closed it off with wire
cutters. Behind her is the ice cream cone cut from
the Sweet Treats cartridge and I cut it at 3 inches.

The sweet tag is cut from a cuttlebug die that I
have had for quite some time. The ribbon pull is
from SU hodgepodge hardware.

The ice cream cones in the corners are cut
from the Sweet Treats cartridge at 1.5 inches
each which I inked up each piece and added
some "sprinkles" with a white gel pen.

Same ice cream cones as above and the ribbon
on the card is Melon Mambo from SU. I hope
you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making
it. Here is the link to the blog where you can view
the tutorial that I followed.
